Mr Yasir Awad Al- Karim, the MENA CPI Program Officer, participated in the 25th Conference organised by The International Union of Scientific Study of Population held in Tours, France during 18th to 23rd July, 2005. He presented a paper entitled "Child well-being in Urban Development Context".
Professor Osman Nour, CPI Consultant, also presented a paper at the Conference on: "Child disability in some countries of the Mena region: magnitude, characteristics, problems and attempts to alleviate consequences of impairments".
2050 participants from all over the world participated in this Conference, representing various administrative, regional, and international organisations.
