Despite the short period since its launching, the CPI received large coverage of its activities in the local and regional media. This was due to its concrete objectives and effective programmes. Following are examples of such coverage:
· Al-Madina Al-Arabia Journal (published by the Arab Towns Organization, ATO), wrote several long articles that appreciated the efforts of the CPI. These articles were in issues, 120,121,122 during the period from September 2004 to February 2005.
· Al-Jazeera News paper of Saudi Arabia devoted a full page in its issue no: 11816 dated Thursday 03rd February 2005, which covered the objectives, programmes and challenges that face the CPI.
· The Newsletter of Greater Amman Municipality published an article, in its issue No: 15 dated December 2004 under the title of: CPI…The Illumination which evoked in Amman.
